Since the beginning in the autumn of 2019,some areas of Shandong have began to change the high school history textbooks from the PEP(2007)to the unified edition(2019).For middle school teachers,how to switch from the PEP(2007)to the unified edition(2019)is a major challenge.At the same time,the "General High School History Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition)" takes historical evidence as one of the core historical qualities that students must master.Historical materials are the remains of human history and are an important "medium" for us to understand history.In high school history teaching,textbooks and historical materials occupy an important position.Teachers use various forms of historical materials in the textbooks to teach,create historical scenarios,improve students' historical learning ability,and cultivate students' historical learning thinking.Therefore,it is very necessary to compare the historical materials of the two editions of textbooks.Based on this necessity,the author takes Chinese historical materials as the center and compares and analyzes the Chinese history part of the two editions of history textbooks,hoping to help frontline teachers shift from the use of the People's Education Edition(2007)to the unified edition in their teaching practice.The use of(2019)helps teachers make better use of the textbooks and historical materials of the unified edition(2019)to implement curriculum standards,achieve teaching goals,and cultivate students' historical core literacy.The use of textbooks and historical materials for teaching must follow the principles of authenticity and diversity,and fit the teaching goals.The two editions of textbooks have a common point in the selection of content of historical materials.They both attach importance to original documents.The historical materials are problem-oriented,closely follow the curriculum standards,and are rich in pictures and historical materials.Most of the historical materials are distributed in the auxiliary system of the teaching materials.The difference lies in the significant increase in Chinese textual historical materials in the historical textbooks of the unified edition(2019),and more attention is paid to the historical materials of maps,and the historical materials of the textbooks are more professional and standardized.Through the investigation and analysis of the first-line teachers and students who use the two editions of textbooks,it is concluded that the users of the two editions of the textbooks in history teaching have many problems,including lack of the use of the textbook historical materials?large capacity of the textbooks?few class hours?and difficulty in reading historical materials.The new textbook has been used for a short period of time,and current users of the People's Education Edition(2007)are still exploring the new textbook.The author believes that in history teaching,in the subsequent use of the 2019 textbooks,the application of historical materials for textbooks should be guided by historical core literacy and teachers should scientifically set teaching goals and use a comprehensive curriculum organization model to create subject integration.integrate textbook historical materials resource to do subject cooperation exploration.play the supplementary role of network resources,so as to make better use of textbooks and historical materials for history teaching.
