As an important method of moral education,the model demonstration method has always been valued and applied by the majority of ideological and political educators.The application of the model demonstration method in the teaching of morality and rule of law in middle school,plays an irreplaceable important role in improving students' ideology and morality,enhancing the effectiveness of the course and realizing the fundamental task of cultivating people by virtue.Therefore,on the basis of studying the basic theory of model demonstration method,combined with teaching practice,further study on how to effectively play the role of model demonstration method,which has important theoretical value and practical significance.The main content of the thesis consists of five parts.The first part is the summary of the relevant theory of the model demonstration method.On the basis of revealing the meaning of the model demonstration method,the characteristics of this method are summarized,which lay a theoretical foundation for further research.The second part elaborated the necessity and feasibility of using model demonstration method in the teaching of morality and rule of law in middle school.It mainly discusses the necessity of adopting this way from aspects of students,teachers and curriculum development,and the feasibility of using this way is emphasized from the perspective of students' own development,curriculum requirement and educational goal of school.In the third part,by implementing the questionnaire,takes some teachers and students of morality and rule of law course in 10 middle schools in a certain city as survey objects,to grasp the main problems existing in the teaching application of morality and rule of law in middle school,and then analyze the causes of these problems.The fourth part is mainly aimed at the problems found in the survey,from the perspectives of teachers,classroom teaching and schools,discusses the path about how to more effectively play the advantages of the model demonstration method.The fifth part is based on the basic theory of the model demonstration method,the problems existing in the application process and the optimal path and so on,designs a specific teaching case of using model demonstration method in the teaching of morality and rule of law in middle school,in order to provide some ideas and suggestions for the current teaching of morality and rule of law.
