| Culture is an aspect of comprehensive strength for a country.The development of culture significantly influences the development of the economy,politics,and education.The establishment and development of school culture is an important part of the entire social-cultural construction.At the same time,the school sports culture is an important part of campus culture,and the construction level of school sports is practically related to the development of students.The development of school football league is an effective way to shape campus sports culture.In 2015,the Ministry of Education and other six departments issued the Implementation Opinions on Accelerating the Development of Youth School Football together（Jiaotiyi[2015]No.6）[1],which pointed out that youth football should be treated as a means of fostering students,cultivating and practicing socialist core values.Football should play an important function of educating people,cultivate a healthy sports culture,promote a positive sportsmanship,and promote the all-round development of the physical and mental health of young people.As the results,many primary schools in Weifang city have launched school football leagues of different levels since 2016.The schools have gradually formed a school football culture with its own characteristics,which constantly enriched the content of campus sports culture.There are 10 primary schools in Weifang City that participated in the school football league that have been studied in this thesis.Through different research methods,such as literature review,questionnaire survey,field observation,mathematical statistics,and in-depth interview,to deeply analysis the impact of the development of the Weifang School Football League on the construction of school sports culture.The main findings are as follow:1.The Weifang Primary School Football League promoted the material construction of school sports culture.The development of the league ensured the investment of funds for sports activities at all levels and departments,so that the school venues and facilities are continuously optimized to meet the needs of school football development.2.The Weifang Primary School Football League promoted the sports awareness of students.The development of the football league guaranteed the students’daily football training and game experience.In this process,the pupils’awareness of rules,competition and cooperation,sense of responsibility and collective honor have been significantly enhanced.3.The Weifang Primary School Football League has guided students’sports behaviors,concepts,words,and deeds.It not only promotes the acquisition of football knowledge of students but also changes the goals and motivations of students participating in sports.4.The Weifang Primary School Football League also has a positive impact on the professional development of PE teachers.First of all,the development of the football league can reflect the value of PE teachers.Secondly,teachers can further improve their comprehensive quality and professional ability in the process of sports training,competition organization,and management.5.The Weifang Primary School Football League has improved the system construction of school sports culture.To be specific,through participating in and holding football matches,various competition management systems have been improved,so that the school sports system can be constructed more professionally and reasonably.The above are the positive impacts of the Weifang Primary School Football League on the construction of school sports culture in the research results.At the same time,there are also some shortcomings that have been found in this study.Therefore,the researcher puts forward the following suggestions:1.While increasing the investment into sports facilities,schools should properly balance the investment ratio of different sports to meet the needs of students to participate in football and to solve the problem of unmatched venues and equipment.2.Studying in primary school is a critical period for the physical and mental development of students.Therefore,in the process of organizing the school football league,we should take students as the main body,strength their sports behavior and habits,improve students’personality and sports morality through sports activities.3.Schools should strengthen the publicity of football leagues to attract more students to interest football through football stars,football charm,etc.Improving students’football skills and knowledge is a good way to cultivate a new generation for our country’s sports construction.4.On the one hand,the development of the football league has created a need for the professional development of PE teachers.On the other hand,schools should actively strengthen the professional training of football theory and skills for PE teachers,and improve their comprehensive ability in sports training,competition organization,and coordination.5.Finally,schools should constantly improve the school sports management system according to their own actual situation,and enhance the sports organization mechanisms such as interest classes and clubs,so as to fully mobilize the enthusiasm of students,teachers,and administrators to build a good school sports culture. |
