With the increasingly close exchanges between China and Italy,more and more Italian people begin to take Chinese as one of the important target languages for their second language learning,and the development of Chinese teaching in Italy has reached a peak.In the process of learning Chinese,Chinese learners not only take Chinese as the content of learning and a tool for communication,but also take Chinese as an important means to understand Chinese culture and have a strong interest in Chinese culture.Therefore,if they choose the Chinese culture they are interested in as an important part of learning Chinese,it will greatly improve the Chinese level of Chinese learners.This study adopts the methods of literature research,investigation and analysis,selects folk stories as an important part of cultural teaching,and then applies them to Chinese teaching in Italian senior high schools to explore the important value and positive influence of Chinese folk stories in teaching Chinese as a foreign language,and summarizes the teaching and learning strategies of folk stories.In the process of teaching practice,the twelve zodiac stories with Chinese traditional cultural characteristics and artistic value are selected as the starting point.Through teaching stories,cultural comparison between China and foreign countries,role play and other teaching activities,the teaching practice is carried out for the sophomores of Tosi high school in Italy.Through the in-depth study of the unique attributes of Chinese folktales,combined with the actual needs of Chinese teaching,this paper demonstrates that folktales,as a part of cultural teaching content,can be used as important language materials for Chinese teaching,which can effectively improve the Chinese level of Chinese learners and promote the development of Chinese teaching.On this basis,it reasonably and appropriately introduces the story of the zodiac into the Chinese language teaching in Italian high schools,and shows in detail the teaching case of the folk story of the zodiac in the Chinese language classroom of Tosi high school in Italy,which has achieved good teaching effect and feedback.Finally,it gives some suggestions on the teaching strategies of folk stories in the Chinese language classroom of Italian high schools Some suggestions on learning strategies and deficiencies are put forward.
