In the section of curriculum nature of the General High School Physics Curriculum Standard(2017),the nature of the physics,its status and role have been illustrated clearly.As for the nature of physics,it states clearly,“physics is a basic subject in the field of the natural science,aiming to research the basic structure,interactive reaction and kinetic laws.Physics is based on observation and experimentation,the construction of physical models,the application of mathematical tools to form systematic research methods and theoretical systems through scientific reasoning and demonstration.That is to say,physics is a research method and theory based on facts and reasoning and argumentation.This is a more accurate summary of physics,which is more specific than the 2003 edition and makes it more convenient for grasping and implementing in teaching practice.From “Double Foundations” to “Three-Dimensional goals” to “Core Literacy”,core literacy is the concentrated embodiment of educational values,which also determines the gradual form of the correct values,necessary characters and key abilities of the students.The core literacy of the physics includes four aspects: physical concepts,scientific thinking,scientific inquiry and scientific attitude and responsibility.In the section of basic concept,it states that we should pay attention to embodying the essence of physics,cultivating students' core physical literacy,the foundation and selection of the curriculum,meeting the needs of students for lifelong development,pay attention to the contemporary nature of courses,pay attention to the needs of scientific and technological progress and social development,pay attention to the contemporary nature of courses,pay attention to the needs of scientific and technological progress and social development,guide students to learn independently,advocate diversification of teaching methods,and focus on process evaluation.Promote the development of students' core literacy.In the "Course Objectives" part,it is clearly stated: to further promote the cultivation and development of the core literacy of students in physics.As one of the subjects most associated with physics,mathematics is a practical tool to study,research and solve the physics problems,so in the stage of high school,the combination of mathematics and physics will be highlighted when it comes to understanding and solving the physics problems.The transfer of the mathematics can not only help us solve the practical problems,but also deepen the students' understanding of the physics concepts and fundamental laws in high school,and promote the competence of objectively analyzing the natural laws and physical phenomena.High school physics contains all the aspects of classical physics,which demands students to summarize the physical laws based on the physical phenomena and contexts,to learn the method of highlighting major factors and omitting minor factors,and to abstract the physical models from the physical contexts and deduce and understand the physical laws based on the relative theories.During the process,the application of mathematics is quite outstanding,which has become one of students' basic competences that are assessed in high school physics.Mathematics serves as an important role in understanding the physical concepts and laws,and in solving the physical problems.It's clearly noted in the College Entrance Examination Outline that the competence of using the mathematics to solve the physical problems are required,which means students should learn to make out the formula between physical quantities,deduce and solve the physical problems,and draw conclusions based on results,and to express and analyze the phenomena and problems with the assistance of geometric figures and functional images.Function is in a irreplaceable position of the field of mathematics and is one of the fundamental components in high school mathematics.As a basic and primary aspect,he Quadratic Function covers a lot of applications during the process of understanding the physical knowledge and solving the physical problems,such as optimization problems,extremum problems and image problems.This thesis attempts to show the application of Quadratic Function in ?the physics based on several specific cases and to provide some according skills and methods in order to have a comprehensive understanding of application of Quadratic Function and better the use of the mathematics in the physics teaching.Plenty of teaching practices show that students' weak foundation of mathematics,not enough application of the mathematics in physics and the transfer of mathematics to the physical problems have been occurring during the physics teaching and assessment.The thesis firstly attempt to solve the rectilinear motion problem,such as the braking problem,the chase travel problem;then it analyzes the curvilinear motion,the horizontal projectile motion,oblique projectile motion and circular motion;moreover,the problem about the maximum of the power supply,the theorem of kinetic energy,the thermology and the electromagnetism are covered in this thesis.This thesis attempts to illustrate the ideas and methods of the application of function in the high school physics based on the basic content,laws and classical cases of the physics;meanwhile,the thesis is expected to provide some reference and guideline for the teaching and test-based assessment in the high school.The results of the research show that in the content of the physics subject,there are a large number of physics test questions that require high-level scientific thinking for students.Using mathematical tools is a common and effective method.We use quadratic functions to cultivate students' ability to solve physics problems,and use the discriminant of the roots of the quadratic function,the Veda theorem,the direction of the opening of the quadratic function,and the axis of symmetry to solve physical problems.When we analyze and solve the model of a specific physical quantity in kinematics by using the displacement-time,velocity-time formulas of uniformly variable linear motion,we will find that we need to combine the mathematical characteristics of the formula to transform this physical problem into A kind of mathematical language solves it,which is specifically expressed in: when a known data or a known physical quantity is substituted into the formula,it can be constructed as a quadratic function,and finally the difficulty of solving the problem is transformed into solving the quadratic function.When solving the projectile motion,through the use of the trajectory equation,solving the complex projectile motion problem can also be converted into the solution of the quadratic function.At the same time,it is not difficult to find that whether it is kinematics,heat,electricity or which part,the quadratic function must be a very conventional method for solving extreme or maximum problems.The use of quadratic functions to solve extreme values can be divided into the application of function expressions and the understanding of images in the general direction.In many physics problems,once the selected method is appropriate,it is very clever to use the quadratic function to solve it.Students have a profound physical understanding of the quadratic function through the understanding of the quadratic function,so as to enhance the students' scientific thinking.The physics teaching process needs to implement the "one core","four layers" and "four wings" in the new college entrance examination evaluation system.The examination evaluation system emphasizes the examination of subject literacy and key abilities,especially innovative thinking,critical thinking and other links test.Teachers should go from solving the original test questions to guiding students to build a physics knowledge network,improve students' scientific thinking,cultivate students' key abilities,and consolidate the foundation for students' all-round development.Students should gradually form correct values,essential characters and key abilities through learning knowledge to learning scientific thinking abilities from multiple angles,so as to reflect the educational value of physics in the college entrance examination.
