Inquiry-based teaching refers to a teaching method that,under the guidance of teachers,creates a problem-exploring situation,puts knowledge in the problem situation,takes students as the main body,guides students to actively explore and discover,obtains knowledge through thinking and discussion,and applies knowledge to solve problems.Inquiry teaching is an indispensable teaching method in history teaching,which meets the needs of social development for innovative talents and individual development of students.It can not only cultivate students’ innovative spirit and practical ability,but also put forward higher requirements for teachers.How to effectively apply inquiry teaching to classroom practice is still a problem worthy of consideration for history teachers.Based on the analysis of the application status of inquiry teaching in senior high school history teaching,this paper discusses the related theories and methods of applying inquiry teaching in senior high school history teaching.The first part is the introduction,which mainly includes the research background,research significance,research methods,research status at home and abroad and the definition of related concepts.In addition to the conclusion,this paper is divided into the following three chapters:The first chapter is the theoretical basis and principles of inquiry teaching.Based on the discussion of psychological basis and pedagogy basis of inquiry teaching,the principles of applying inquiry teaching are summarized.The second chapter is the analysis of the present situation of applying inquiry teaching in history teaching of senior high school.Based on the investigation of the application of inquiry teaching in senior high school history teaching,this paper analyzes the existing problems and reasons.The third chapter is the strategy of applying inquiry teaching in history teaching of senior high school.Combined with the analysis results of the application status of inquiry teaching in senior high school history teaching,this paper explains the strategies of applying inquiry teaching.It mainly includes creating problem situations to arouse students’ interest in inquiry;Select effective historical materials and use them to solve problems;Multi-cooperation and communication to improve students’ inquiry ability;Pay attention to teacher training and improve teachers’ teaching ability.
