There are obvious differences in non-verbal cultural customs between China and Africa.There are few non-verbal communication studies for African students in China in the field.This article focuses on African students from Jiangxi Science and Technology Normal University,and mainly uses a combination of questionnaire surveys and personal interviews.Conducted an in-depth analysis and research on the problems of foreign students in various aspects of non-verbal communication,and found that African students in China have the most problems in "body language",in terms of "time view","space view" and "para-language".The problem is relatively few,and the least problematic aspect is "object language".On this basis,the author analyzes the cause of the problem and puts forward corresponding improvement strategies in a targeted manner.This article is divided into four parts.The first part introduces the research background,research purpose,research significance,research methods,research status and theoretical basis of this article,which lays the foundation for the follow-up research;the second part is the central chapter of this article,mainly describing the questionnaire method and The use of the interview method and the current communication status of African students in China,researching African students in China are most likely to appear in the five aspects of "body language","time view","space view","paralanguage" and "object language".From the perspective of the problem;the third part is an in-depth analysis of the non-verbal communication problems of African students in China found in the previous survey and research,mainly from both subjective and objective aspects.Subjective reasons include insufficient cultural understanding of the destination country,affective factors,Our ethnocentrism and the influence of mother tongue cultural transfer are objectively analyzed from three aspects: the management of foreign students,the teaching of teachers,and the compilation and use of teaching materials.The fourth part is the last part of this article,which explores how to help African students in China improve their non-verbal language.The means and measures of communication problems put forward different methods of improvement from the four aspects of African international students,teachers and teaching,selection and compilation of teaching materials,and management of international students.
