Project-based Learning is a curriculum form based on national curriculum standards,relying on complete projects,taking driving problems as motivation,taking project products as results,and taking cultivating students' critical thinking,innovation consciousness and problem-solving practical ability as the main goal.At present,Project-based Learning in the field of basic education continues to rise in popularity,has become the focus of attention and research in educational theory and practice,and gradually began to become the mainstream curriculum form from marginal activities.This research focuses on the problems related to the learning design of practical field projects,and adopts the action research method of collaborative research with cooperative teachers to carry out a three-month action research.This research has carried out three rounds of action research,trying to change the original curriculum form and change students' learning style,so as to achieve the cultivation of students' success quality.Each round of action research consists of planning,action,observation,and reflection,and demonstrates and illustrates concrete actions through a Project-based Learning design on a specific topic.The first round of action research aimed to explore the possible forms of Project-based Learning design,and carried out the Project-based Learning design and implementation of "Mid-Autumn Festival Theme Animation Story Making".As this round of action completely followed the traditional form of "lesson plan",the original curriculum form did not change.Therefore,the overall design of Project-based Learning needs to be reconstructed urgently.On this basis,the second round of action research aimed to reconstruct the basic framework of Project-based Learning design,and carried out the Project-based Learning design and implementation of "Driverless Car".This round of action clarifies the elements of Project-based Learning design and reconstructs the basic framework of Project-based Learning design by referring to the Project-based Learning design template of Barker Institute of Education.Through observation and interview,it is found that students' learning styles are changing,but Project-based Learning design still has problems in key dimensions such as cognitive strategy,disciplinary value and resource development.Based on the above problems,the third round of action research aimed to improve the key dimensions of Project-based Learning design and carried out the Project-based Learning design and implementation of "Building a Bridge".This round of action will develop higher-order cognitive strategies on the basis of providing lower-order cognitive strategies,integrate fine arts into Project-based Learning and point to aesthetic practice,expand the channels of community resource development,and improve the problems existing in the second round of action research.Through observation and interview,it is believed that the success quality of students in Project-based Learning has been improved,but there are still some problems in the evaluation of Project-based Learning design.At the end of the three rounds of action research,the learning design of the project has experienced a perfect process from "name" to "reality" and from "have" to "excellent".The learning style of students has changed,the learning interest is stronger,the success quality has also developed;The teaching style of teachers has changed from the no-instructional design view to the holistic instructional design view and from the management type to the leadership type.The researchers reflect on the whole action research,the action follows the research logic from the should to the actual,and the holistic instructional design view provides the direction for the Project-based Learning design in action research.In the course of action,researchers and co-teachers should establish and maintain common consciousness to avoid action research falling into the trap of "theory invading practice" or "practice overtaking theory",so that action research can proceed smoothly.In order to give full play to the educational function of Project-based Learning,it is necessary to normalize and curricular Project-based Learning.Through action research,it is found that subject curriculum standard is an important basis for Project-based Learning design,interdisciplinary curriculum integration is an important starting point for Project-based Learning design,breaking the thinking pattern is the key for Project-based Learning design to transform from "teaching" to "learning",and participation experience is the practical path of Project-based Learning design.Therefore,in order to improve the effectiveness of Project-based Learning design,it is necessary to design the learning process according to the discipline curriculum standard,to break the discipline barrier with the participation of multi-disciplinary teachers,to break the traditional teaching design thinking pattern,and to expand the diversified Project-based Learning practice.
