Chinese Curriculum Standards for Ordinary Senior High Schools(2017 Edition)stipulates 18 task groups for Chinese learning,three of which are naturally reminiscent of The Analects of Confucius : "Whole Book Reading and Seminar"(compulsory),"Study of Chinese Traditional Culture Classics"(optional compulsory),"Seminar on Chinese Traditional Culture"(optional).In the real reading situation,The Analects of Confucius exists as a unit of the whole book.The Analects of Confucius is one of the best choices for studying and researching traditional Chinese culture.As a representative work of Confucian culture,The Analects embodies Confucius' thoughts and ideas in ethics,politics,philosophy and other aspects.It is an important carrier for high school students to understand and inherit excellent traditional Chinese culture.Although the teaching of reading the whole book of The Analects of Confucius is imperative,the present situation of the teaching of reading the whole book of The Analects of Confucius is not optimistic in the current teaching context,and few students have read the whole book completely and deeply.Zhu Xi,a master of Neo-Confucianism in the Southern Song Dynasty,was keen on education all his life.In the process of lecturing and writing books,he constantly drew on the wisdom of his predecessors and combined with his own experience in academic research,and elaborated on many methods of reading.Later generations will be attributed to the method of Zhu Zi reading,that is,step by step,read carefully,modesty,self-restraint,remember to observe,Jing Zhi,with the tight force.Zhu Zi's reading method,as a collection of ancient reading experience,is a valuable wealth in the history of Chinese reading,and it still has a strong reference significance for the current reading teaching of the whole book.This study aims to draw useful experience from Zhu's reading method and make appropriate teaching transformation,so as to provide a kind of thinking and beneficial attempt for the improvement of reading teaching of the Analects of Confucius.Firstly,this study makes clear the specific connotation of Zhu Zi's reading method.On this basis,this paper demonstrates the rationality of the application of Zhu Zi's reading method in the reading teaching of the whole book of The Analects of Confucius from two aspects: its correspondence with the text characteristics and its significant value in the reading teaching of the whole book of The Analects.Taking two high school students as the objects of investigation,through the questionnaire survey,the problems existing in the reading of the whole book of The Analects of Confucius are as follows: the reading situation of the whole book is not optimistic,the teacher's process guidance is absent,the reading method is single,and the text characteristics cannot be combined to choose the appropriate reading method;Insufficient reading quality,lack of the Analects of Confucius the whole book reading good quality.Based on the analysis of existing problems,this study draws useful experience from Zhu Zi's reading method,and puts forward the application strategy of Zhu Zi's reading method in the reading teaching of the Analects of Confucius.First,promote the implementation of reading teaching of the whole book of Analects in a step-by-step way.To be specific,this study constructs four orderly implementation stages of the whole book reading teaching of The Analects,namely,the study stage,the initial reading stage,the study stage and the expansion stage.In the process of strengthening the reading teaching of The Analects,it guides students to read the whole book step by step.Second,optimize the teaching strategy to help students construct the whole book reading method.It mainly includes three aspects:strengthening the teaching of reading and guiding students to think deeply about the text;Pay attention to students' "pre-understanding",solve the classic cheating;Relate students' real life,promote thinking and action.Third,experience the reading quality of the whole book.It mainly includes three aspects: stimulating reading motivation and cultivating reading initiative;Train perseverance,cultivate reading endurance;Cultivate your concentration in reading.
