Research On The First Class Discipline Construction Of Colleges And Universities In Liaoning Province

As a national strategy following the “211 Project” and “985 Project”,the construction of “double first class” is the key work of China’s higher education reform and development in recent period.The implementation of “double first class”construction strategy is an effective way to enhance the comprehensive strength of national higher education,and it is an inevitable choice for China to transform from a big country of higher education to a powerful country of higher education.In order to better connect with the “double first-class” construction scheme at the national level,Liaoning provincial government has issued the “implementation plan for Liaoning Province to promote the construction of world-class universities and first-class disciplines in an overall way” in combination with the actual situation of Liaoning Province.It proposes to promote the construction of first-class disciplines by classification,and make the construction of first-class disciplines an important starting point,Enhance the competitiveness of higher education in Liaoning Province and the overall strength of the region,and provide a solid guarantee for Liaoning Province to become a strong province of higher education.Based on the concept of serving the overall revitalization and all-round development of Liaoning Province,this study uses the methods of literature analysis,statistical analysis and comparative analysis,this paper makes an in-depth study on the construction of first-class discipline in colleges and universities in Liaoning province.Through the construction of a number of first-class disciplines that play a supporting and leading role in the economic and social development of Liaoning Province,the core competitiveness of higher education in Liaoning Province will be greatly enhanced.First of all,this study explains the process and development foundation of firstclass discipline construction in colleges and universities in Liaoning province,including the number of first-class disciplines,the hierarchical structure,the fourth round of discipline evaluation and the achievements of discipline construction,etc,on behalf of the Liaoning province colleges and universities first-class discipline construction overall status analysis of the indicators.Secondly,on the basis of the analysis of the current situation,the paper puts forward the dilemma faced by the firstclass discipline construction in colleges and universities in Liaoning.Finally,this paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions for the first-class discipline construction in Colleges and universities of Liaoning Province.First,the scientific orientation of disciplines to serve the needs of economic development.Focus on the needs of Liaoning’s industrial development,condense the first-class discipline direction to serve the overall revitalization of Liaoning,and enhance the key areas of Liaoning’s economic and social development.The second is to create a discipline development environment and enhance the discipline influence.To enhance the strength of first-class discipline construction,we should not only increase investment in hardware facilities,but also increase investment in soft power culture.Third,we should pay equal attention to both introduction and training,and build a first-class discipline team.Building a firstclass discipline team is the key to discipline construction.After introducing talents through multiple channels,we should pay attention to the later training of talents and enhance the innovation ability of scientific research talents.Fourth,raise funds in a diversified way and broaden the channels of capital investment.The source of funds in Colleges and universities can not only rely on the support of the government,but also actively attract the support of enterprises and social capital,constantly broaden the funding channels of discipline construction,and ensure that discipline construction has sufficient funding support.
