A Research On Topic Evolution Based On LDA And Word2vec

With the development and promotion of “Double First-Class” university evaluation,the role of scientometrics in scientific research evaluation has once again been demonstrated.In the years of the development of scientometrics,its research constantly promotes the innovation of research contents and methods,and its research themes are also changing dynamically.Tracking the theme of international scientometrics research can strongly support the innovation of subject knowledge and provide forward-looking knowledge services for users,and promote romote the effective absorption and transformation of scientific knowledge and the development of scientometrics.From the perspective of topic mining and topic relevance,this paper comprehensively applies the theories and methods of deep learning,text mining,visualization,etc.focusing on the topic mining in the field of scientometrics,topic domain relevance,topic evolution modeling and topic evolution knowledge map.The main work of the paper is as follows:Firstly,starting from the basic theories and techniques of the topic evolution construction are proposed.Then,the paper explores the macro research situation based on ISSI Conference from the perspectives of countries,institutions and authors.After the meaning of the theme is clarified,from the perspective of semantic information richness and semantic association measurement feasibility,The word2 vec model is introduced to the sequential and dependency relationship between words into the improvement and optimization of the LDA topic model.Finally,the evolution of the topic is visualized to generate the Sankey map of the topic evolution,and the evolution context and trend of the development of scientometrics are studied.Based on the bibliometric analysis of ISSI conference,China has become the backbone of the research in the field of scientometrics after European countries;Leiden University,Montreal University and Wuhan University are the three institutions with the largest amount of papers;the author-cooperation network shows good academic exchanges and cooperation relations among scholars as a whole.Based on LDA and word2 vec,the research on the topic evolution of scientometrics found that in recent years,the three topics of scientometrics index research,Altmetrics,technological innovation and patent research are the hot topics of scientometrics;the rise of Altmetrics and the development of citation analysis are the main paths of scientometrics' topic evolution.The evolution of the subject matter of the scientometrics is characterized by evolution,structure and stage.In the future,the research trends of scientometrics will be scientific,technical and practical.
