With the deepening of the national basic education mathematics curriculum reform,"problem posing" has been increasingly valued by scholars. It is regarded as an important part of mathematics curriculum, and even the center of mathematics teaching activities.Since the 1980 s,American math curriculum standards have explicitly stated that "students should be given the opportunity to put forward math questions ",the research on problems in mathematics education has become a research hotspot of foreign scholars. The domestic educational circle has also introduced new educational concepts according to the domestic educational situation in time.China's 2011 edition of the newly revised "Compulsory Education Mathematics Curriculum Standards" takes students "finding and putting forward problems" as an important curriculum objective. The students of Grade One are in the critical age of physical and mental development and ability cultivation. This study takes the students of Grade One in Shanghai as the research object. The specific research questions include:(1)What is the current situation of the students' mathematical problem solving ability in Grade One?(2)Which factors have a significant impact on the ability of math problem solving of Grade One students?(3)How to effectively improve students' ability to propose mathematical problems? To solve the first problem, this study forms effective evaluation standard from seven quality dimensions including mathematics, solvability, fluency, flexibility, relevance, profundity and novelty.Take all the junior students and teachers from three high schools in Xuhui district of Shanghai as investigation object, and investigate the performance of the students' question-proposing ability through questionnaires and test papers. The results are as follows: the first grade students are weak in question raising ability;Students are more likely to ask questions in real life situations; The students showed different questioning quality under different problem tasks. To solve the second problem, clustering the questions in the questionnaire and analyzing the correlation between them and the scores in the test paper. It is concluded that the factors influencing the ability of problem posing of Grade One students can be divided into four dimensions:teacher factors, student factors, environmental factors and other factors. The most representative problems in different dimensions were selected according to the importance and relevance of features, and verified by ANOVA and multiple comparisons. The study found that among the student factors, learning interest and learning initiative have the most significant improvement in the ability to ask questions;among the teacher factors, the way of answering questions and teaching methods of teachers have a significant impact on the development of students' questioning ability;environmental factors such as group mutual assistance atmosphere, etc.to a certain extent, also affect students' enthusiasm for questioning and pioneering thinking.Combining the current situation and influencing factors obtained by quantitative and qualitative analysis and the author's own teaching experience, this article puts forward some relevant suggestions to improve students' ability to raise questions,in order to provide reference for educators in future teaching. The specific suggestions include: creating a suitable problem situation;mastering the strategy of designing problems;creating a relaxed and active classroom atmosphere;teaching students in accordance with their aptitude to construct evaluation standards;and improving teachers' ability to raise questions.
