In the process of solving the questions related to the high school solid geometry —ball,it is usually necessary for students to make figures,further analysis and thinking,and at the same time,it has a high demand for the ability of spatial imagination.Therefore,it is more difficult to solve such problems.However,problems related to ball are one of the key contents of high school mathematics.In the college entrance examination of different provinces,there will be one or two questions related to ball,which have certain difficulty.The geometric model of ball and the nature of it become an important test point in the college entrance examination.The requirements of examination outline for such questions are as follows: understand the concept of ball and master the nature of the ball,the surface area formula and the volume formula of the ball,students should be able to solve the problems related to the cross—section of the ball.That is to say,questions related to the knowledge of the ball belong to the examination contents,but they are not required too much,therefore,this test point mostly appears in the multiple—choice and the blank filling questions.As a branch of geometry,solid geometry is a subject that studies the relationship between the shape,size and position of spatial figures.In high school mathematics,it is also a key and difficult point generally recognized by teachers and students.No matter in the past,present or future,solid geometry has great and extensive value in all aspects of theoretical research and life practice.In this knowledge system,the description and research on basic geometric sphere not only make all parts of the knowledge come together and shine in some thinking innovation,but also become a unique comprehensive point in learning and exploration in the field of geometry.However,we found that even though the degree of difficulty has been reduced,the learning effect of the knowledge of the solid geometric sphere in middle school mathematics is not satisfactory.Compared with other chapters,students score lower in this chapter.They generally reflect that the knowledge of solid geometry sphere is difficult to learn,understand,score and raise their interest.Obviously,the content of solid geometry sphere knowledge has become an obstacle that high school students can not overcome in the learning of the whole high school mathematics knowledge system.In order to explore the learning obstacles of high school students and the corresponding teaching strategy,the author made the following investigation and research on the learning obstacles of a high school students in Xing yi,Guizhou Province.According to students' learning situation of learning the solid geometry sphere knowledge this middle school,as well as the different situations that students show in different regions and levels,this paper makes a comprehensive and specific analysis from the specific learning representation.Based on the point expansion,and according to the actual results,the questions related to ball are classified and discussed and the solutions are given.At the same time,this essay will analyze the difficulty in geometric sphere teaching,as well as providing some suggestions and strategies for reference.
