With the development of Chinese economy stepping into new state,further improvement of urban infrastructure and effective development and utilization of resources,modern society is lack of Geology Specialty talents.Secondary vocational education is responsible for the mission of training high-quality workers in technology,service,management,production and so on.The increase of demand for high-quality and high skilled workers in enterprises promotes the reform of teaching mode in secondary vocational schools.Theory-Practice Integrated Teaching Model is on the basis of the cultivation of students' competence,especially the students' professional skills and practical operation.The mode is widely used in secondary vocational schools.However,there are a sequence of questions such as backward teaching ideas and theoretical divorced from reality in practice.Based on the above research background,from the perspective of holistic optimization,this article argues that the problems of the application research of Theory-Practice Integrated Teaching Model in secondary vocational schools.Starting from the research background of the Integration of Theory and Practice,this paper explains the significance of the Integration of Theory and Practice,summarizes the research progress on current research situations,and points out the shortcomings in the current research.This article takes Geological Specialty of G school in Nanjing as an example,on the basis of constructivism and other educational theories,using the methods of investigation and interview,from five aspects of teaching methods,learning attitude,teaching resources,teaching evaluation and teachers' situation to investigate and obtain real and reliable research data,and analyzes the shortcomings of the current teaching mode of geology major in secondary vocational schools and specific reasons.With the core of "combination of theory and practice",this article argue that there is a targeted optimization path for the smooth implementation of the Theory-Practice Integrated Teaching Model: optimize Integration of Theory and Practice teaching method,so that teachers can change from former classroom lecturers to classroom teaching guides and organizers;optimize the allocation of teaching resources,create a highly simulated professional situation to attract students to study;optimize the teaching evaluation mechanism,adhering to the principles of systematization,purposefulness and objectivity,improving the evaluation index system,optimizing the path of teacher development,and striving to build a dual teacher structure team.
