As the basis of classroom teaching,history textbook is not only the concrete embodiment of history curriculum standard,but also the main tool of teachers' teaching and students' learning.With the continuous development of comparative research on history education,the comparative research on history textbooks has made great achievements,but few studies have taken African history textbooks as the comparative object.In recent years,China-Africa relations have been developing continuously.China attaches great importance to establishing good cooperative relations with Africa,and pays more attention to the exchange and reference of history education with Africa.Due to the differences between the two countries in cultural background,compilation concept and curriculum standards,there are some differences in the compilation style,structure and content selection of the two editions of the textbooks,but each edition has its own characteristics.This paper attempts to take the two editions of Chinese and African history textbooks as the research object and the content of Ming History as the starting point to deeply analyze the similarities and differences between the two editions of Chinese and African history textbooks,so as to further understand the history education concepts of the two countries and provide reference for China's history teaching practice.This paper consists of three parts: introduction,text and conclusion.The introduction part discusses the reason and significance of this topic,the academic review and research methods related to this topic.The main body is composed of four parts: The first part is an overview of high school history textbooks in China and Africa,mainly comparing the similarities and differences between the two editions of textbooks in terms of writing style,teaching structure and content characteristics.The second part mainly compares the text system of the textbook from the aspects of title,content selection and content statement.The third part mainly compares the auxiliary system of the textbook from the aspects of introduction language,column setting,selection of historical materials,text illustrations and exercises after class.The fourth part mainly analyzes and summarizes the characteristics of the two editions of history textbooks and the enlightenment to the compilation of Chinese history textbooks.The epilogue summarizes the characteristics of the compilation of history textbooks in the two countries,hoping to provide some references for the compilation of history textbooks in China.
