As one of the entertainment carriers that elementary school students like,cartoons have the characteristics of anthropomorphism and exaggeration of colors,which can easily attract the attention of elementary school students and promote the development of their aesthetic ability.In primary school art teaching,the improvement of teaching methods is an effective way to promote the development of teaching.Through investigation,it is found that conventional art teaching methods cannot effectively attract primary school students'classroom attention and interest in learning.Therefore,this research attempts to improve the teaching methods in the low-level art teaching of primary school,and apply the modeling and color elements of cartoons to the art classroom,so as to attract the attention of primary school students and increase their interest in art learning.This research mainly focuses on the following aspects:First,based on the psychological development characteristics of primary school students today,analyze the effect of cartoon elements on primary school students' cognitive psychology;Interpret the new art curriculum standards and art textbooks,conduct interviews and surveys with teachers and primary school students to understand the current situation of primary school art teaching,and obtain the feasibility of using cartoon styles and color elements in primary school art teaching.Secondly,it analyzes the modeling and color elements of cartoons,and analyzes its effect on the development of primary school students' art ability.Third,according to the theory and current situation analysis,design teaching methods,select teaching topics and teaching objects,and apply them to teaching practice.Finally,a comparative analysis of the teaching practice results of this research is carried out to further prove the practicality and effectiveness of applying the modeling and color elements of cartoons in the low-level art teaching of primary schools.
