At present,our country's higher education has entered a new era of development,and the rapid increase in the number of college students poses new challenges to the undergraduate teaching work and the talents training in colleges and universities.Textbooks are the carrier of teaching activities between teachers and students,and play an important role in guiding students' knowledge learning and ideological and moral cultivation.The quality of textbooks selection is the key to the reform of undergraduate course teaching,and the selection of professional teaching materials directly affects the degree of professionalization of talent training.Local college and university undertanke the important task of undergraduate talent training.Improving the standards of professional and innovative talent training in local college and universities must focus on improving the selection quality of professional textbooks,giving full play to the education function of textbooks,promoting students' connotative type of developwent,giving full play to the service function of teching materials for education and teching.To improve the training standards of professional and innovative talents in local colleges and universities,we must focus on improving the quality of professional teaching materials selection,give full play to the educational function of teaching materials,promote the connotative development of students,and fully use the service function of teaching materials for education and teaching.This research firstly reviews the history of textbook selection,to understand the historical context of textbook selection in our country since modern times,and lay an empirical basis for the research on the selection mechanism of textbook selection in colleges and universities in the new era Secondly,based on the "learner center" principle,total quality management theory,synergy theory and other related theories,we choose the undergraduates from local colleges and universities in Anhui,Jiangsu,Shandong,and Henan province to conduct a questionnaire survey on the use of professional teaching materials.At the same time,we conducted in-depth interviews with teachers and textbook managers to obtain first-hand information,trying to perform a comprehensive analysis of the problems in the teaching materials selection process from the aspects about the main body of teaching materials use,teaching materials compilation,teaching materials review,and principles.Finally,we made attribution from the perspectives of teachers teaching,teaching materials management organization,authoring bodies,student level,etc.,and proposed relevant strategies.The research found that: first,students are lack of subjectivity and initiative when learning textbooks,and the use rate of textbooks is not high;second,the written of teaching materials is easily driven by benefits,the purpose of the compilation is not clear,the entry threshold of textbooks is low,and the quality is difficult to guarantee;Third,textbook approval system is not perfect,the validation process of one-sided pursuit of administrative efficiency;fourth,the content of professional teaching materials lacks for innovation,the awareness of ideological and moral education is not clear,and the function of teaching materials to foster morality is lack of effectiveness.Under the new situation of comprehensively strengthening undergraduate education,Local colleges and universities should improve the quality review system of textbook composen,improve the scientific propety of compilation,optimize the management system of teaching materials,improve the quality of management staff,strengthen the construction of teaching staff,optimize teaching methods,encourage and guide students to participate in the work on education management,fully use students' subjectivity and initiative,promote the overall improvement about the quality of professional teaching materials selection.
