China in the first half of the 20th century was a period of great transformation.Affected by the introduction of Western education,traditional education has been impacted,and traditional moral education concepts have evolved.Before the establishment of the Chinese moral education discipline,Dewey's moral education thought with the advanced nature and important value of the times entered China and exerted an important influence on the development of China's moral education and education theory research,the reform of education system and education practice.At present,domestic academic circles have done more research on the dissemination of Dewey's thoughts on education in China and the dissemination of Western moral education thoughts in China,but there are relatively few special studies on the dissemination and influence of Dewey's thoughts on moral education in China in the first half of the 20th century.The dissemination and influence of Dewey's moral education thought in China in the first half of the 20th century is an important part of educational exchanges and comparisons between China and foreign countries,as well as an important content of comparative education research.In view of this,this research conducts a preliminary study on the spread and influence of Dewey's moral education thought in China in the first half of the 20th century,which has relatively important academic value and practical significance.This research takes the spread of Dewey's moral education thought in China and its influence in the first half of the 20th century as the research object,comprehensively using literature research methods,historical research methods,and comparative research methods.The excavation and use of diversified historical materials such as diaries and memoirs try to show the early picture of the spread and influence of Dewey's moral education thoughts in China in the first half of the 20th century.The main ideas of this research are as follows: First,the background of the spread of Dewey's moral education thoughts in China in the first half of the 20th century is summarized,the social environment and the background of education thoughts at that time,and the important value of Dewey's moral education thoughts are provided for the introduction of Dewey's moral education thoughts.Advantageous conditions.Secondly,according to the time clues before Dewey's arrival in China,during Dewey's stay in China,and after Dewey's departure,the specific path of the spread of Dewey's moral education thoughts in China was revealed through the periodical and newspaper articles published at that time,Dewey's lectures in China,and academic works published in China.And way.Thirdly,sum up the characteristics of Dewey's moral education thought spread in China in the first half of the 20th century.The main manifestations are: diverse media,large number of communicators,rich content,long time and wide range of communication.Finally,I summarize the influence of Dewey's moral education thought on Chinese education in the first half of the 20th century,mainly including the influence on moral education research and education theory research,and the influence on education system and education practice reform.
