During the teaching period of Daejeon dao'an high school and Dongbang high school in Daejeon City,the author observed that the students had insufficient motivation to learn Chinese,which had a negative impact on their Chinese learning.Therefore,in order to ensure the Chinese teaching goes smoothly and effectively in South Korea,it is necessary to seek effective methods to enhance Korean students' Chinese learning motivation.Through reading a large amount of literature on learning motivation,the author finally focu on the ARCS motivation model proposed by Professor Keller.This model is not only based on a variety of motivation theories,but also has the characteristics of maneuverability and flexibility.It is currently studied at home and abroad.Some scholars have applied the ARCS Motivation Model in the field of TCFL,which inspired the author to try to apply this model Chinese teaching in Korean high school,in order to help students improve their motivation for learning Chinese and ensure the development of Chinese teaching in Korea.In order to ensure the effective application of ARCS motivation model in Chinese teaching in Korean senior high schools,the author takes two senior high schools as examples,uses a combination of questionnaire method and classroom observation method to understand the level of students' learning motivation,and uses interview method to investigate the use of teachers and textbooks.It is found that ARCS motivation model is consistent with the Chinese teaching objectives in Korean syllabus,and is consistent with learners At the same time,korean senior high school has practical teaching conditions.Then,starting from the four elements of ARCS Motivation: attention,relevance,self-confidence and satisfaction,this paper puts forward the corresponding motivation strategies based on the actual situation: the first is attracting attention strategy,the second is establishing related strategy,the third is establishing confidence strategy and the last is enhancing satisfaction strategy,and then gives examples according to the teaching content.Based on the above-mentioned ARCS motivation strategies,the teaching design of Lesson11 "How to Sell Apples" is carried out,which can illustrate the applicability of arcs motivational model in Korean high school Chinese teaching.At the same time,at the end of the second semester,students are interviewed.Through the analysis of interview records and classroom observation,it can be seen that the application of arcs motivational model in Korean high school Chinese teaching will have a certain effect To a certain extent,it improves the level of students' motivation in Chinese learning.Finally,this paper is based on the author's reflection on the application of ARCS motivation model in Korean high school Chinese class in the second semester,this paper puts forward some suggestions from the aspects of attention,relevance,confidence and satisfaction.
