Humanistic quality education has always been the focus and difficulty of quality education in Chinese colleges and universities.Facing the policy guidance and practical problems of the new era,humanistic quality education needs to carry out reforms with distinctive features and deep breakthroughs,so as to promote the connotative development of higher education and meet the needs and expectations of the quality of talents in social transformation.At the same time,with the concept of "building a culturally powerful country" and "firm cultural self-confidence",the cultural inheritance and innovation function of colleges and universities has been placed in a more important position,which has also brought new development opportunities for humanities quality education in colleges and universities.For local colleges and universities,the excellent regional cultural resources with deep meaning and rich connotation have valuable humanistic education development value.Therefore,local colleges and universities should link the historical mission of shouldering cultural inheritance responsibilities and building a culturally powerful country with the cultivation of students 'humanistic qualities.Thus,this allows local colleges and universities to give full play to their own functions and cultural education functions,promote the reform and development of humanistic quality education,promote the construction of characteristic culture of colleges and universities,and promote the inheritance and development of excellent regional culture.It uses the literature research method to clarify the core concepts of "Humanistic Quality Education","Regional Culture" and "Local Universities".Under the guidance of higher education cultural function theory and university cultural inheritance innovation function theory,the necessity of regional cultural inheritance and development in humanities quality education in local colleges and universities is demonstrated from the following aspects: the relationship between the development of humanistic quality education and the inheritance of regional culture,the humanistic education function and value of excellent regional culture.At the same time,it analyzes the feasibility from three aspects: policy guidelines,realistic conditions of culturalresources,and effective ways.Therefore,through the analysis of necessity and feasibility,we can affirm the role of regional culture in humanities quality education of local colleges and universities,and clarify why and how to integrate regional culture into humanities quality education of local colleges and universities,so as to realize the two-way interaction between the two.It takes Henan Province universities with a long history and rich regional cultural resources as examples,selects four undergraduate colleges in different cities and has certain school-running strength as research objects.Through field visits,interviews and surveys,and data collection,the five achievements of the inheritance and development of regional culture in the current humanistic quality education in Henan colleges and universities are summarized.Emphasizing regional cultural values in the concept of educating people,setting up regional cultural humanities courses in some majors,organizing campus activities on the theme of regional culture,introducing regional cultural elements into campus construction,and enriching humanistic education resources based on research results.At the same time,it summarizes the existing problems and analyzes the influencing factors of the effective inheritance and development of regional culture in humanities education in local colleges and universities.It is based on theoretical analysis and empirical research,and is guided by the status quo issues and the effectiveness of practices.The starting point is from the humanistic education function of regional culture and the form of integration of humanistic quality education in local colleges and universities.It puts forward countermeasures and suggestions for the inheritance and development of regional culture in the humanistic quality education of local colleges and universities.First,local universities and local society are linked internally and externally.At the same time,university management should increase the emphasis on the development of regional cultural inheritance development planning plans,and actively establish close contact with government departments to obtain corresponding social security.Second,local colleges and universities should reform the teaching system and give play to the role of the main channel of humanistic quality education.It is necessary to tap the educational resources of excellent regional culture,develop school-based textbooks of regional culture,optimize the construction of humanities curriculum system,update teachers' teaching concepts,and enhance the educational effect of regional culture.Third,local colleges and universities should make full use of the second classroom of humanistic quality education,integrate the resources within the school,and form a complete set of regional cultural themes of the second classroom of humanistic education,so as to expand the channels and coverage of regional cultural publicity and education.Fourth,local colleges and universities should incorporate regional cultural characteristics into the campus landscape to create a good campus cultural atmosphere for colleges to inherit regionalculture.Finally,the establishment of a reasonable and perfect regional cultural education and teaching related evaluation system and guarantee system to promote the humanities education of local colleges and universities to the inheritance and development of regional culture is more excellent and lasting.
