In the face of the unlimited growth of knowledge and information and the limited time and energy of students,scholars have to think about what is mostvaluable for student development.From Whitehead to Bruner,they have expressed their views on this issue.In essence,they emphasize the discipline thinking method.Geography is an important subject that promotes the development of students.High school is also an important stage for the growth and development of students.Therefore,high school geography must also face this problem."General High School Geography Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition)" conforms to the trendof the times,and proposes a high school geography curriculum goal to cultivate the core qualities of geography.Geographical thinking methods are basic concepts,attitudes,and abilities that have a guiding role in the research and instructing of geography,that is,the essential thinking,methods,and abilities of geography.On the one hand,the geographical thinking method,as the essence of the content of the geography subject,inevitably contains the core qualities of geography;On the other hand,the geographical thinking method,as the thinking mode and problem solving method of the geographical subject,is the basic way to complete the geography instructing goals.As the bridge from instructing theory to instructing practice,design is a systematic plan to achieve instructing goals.Therefore,high school geography instructing design based on geographical thinking methods is an effective way to cultivate the core qualities of geography.In addition,it also plays an important role in enriching relevant research,promoting students overall development and enhancing teachers professional qualities.Based on this,the author follows the research idea of analysis-design-application to carry out this research.This research elaborated the research background and significance through the literature research method.Based on the in-depth study of the geological thought methods and instructional design related literature,it expounded the research review,defined the core concepts,and summarized the theoretical basis,thereby laying a solid foundation for the research.Then,through the questionnaire survey,the current situation of geography instructing design in senior high schools based on geographicthought methods was analyzed.The results of the questionnaire analysis revealed that there was conflicting knowledge of geography thinking methods among high school geography teachers.There were problems in the design of geography thinking methods and insufficient penetration.It can be seen that the current status of geography instructing design in senior high schools based on geography thinking methods is not optimistic.Therefore,based on the theoretical foundation and practical problems,the research on the dimensions,types and strategies of geography instructing design in senior high schools based on geography thought methods is carried out.Finally,the instructing design case designed based on the above theory is applied to the instructing practice of geography in Xining M Middle School by action research method.The instructing is carried out in the experimental class and the control class respectively.By comparing and analyzing the instructing results of the experimental class and the control class,it is found that based on The geography instructing method of geography thinking method is more effective.In this study,through comparative analysis of test scores and questionnaires,and through analysis of individual interviews,the following conclusions were finally drawn:(1)The geographical design of high schools based on geographical thought methods is conducive to the implementation of geographic core literacy and is an effective way to achieve geographic core literacy;(2)High school geography instructing design based on geographical thinking methods can promote the overall development of students,and play an important role in promoting the transformation of underachievers and balanced development of classes;(3)Geography instructing based on geography thought method is more effective than traditional high school geography instructing. |
