China has begun to step into an aging society,and the pressure of social security will become more and more serious.As an important part of social security,commercial personal insurance needs to be paid enough attention.However,in China,the actual situation is that the actual ownership rate of family commercial personal insurance is not high,which is far below the international average level,so it is understood that the impact on Chinese family business people,The demand factor of life insurance is very important.In China's inherent traditional thought,"no matter how hard you are,you can't hurt your children" is deeply rooted in countless families,especially in rural families.Parents are selfless in the cultivation of their children.Chinese parents should consider the education expenditure,family building,housing purchase and other aspects of their children's future life.Therefore,based on the original intention of Chinese family to raise children,this thesis takes the number of family children as the explanatory variable to analyze the impact of purchasing commercial life insurance on family asset allocation.This thesis uses the data from the 2017 China Household Financial Survey(CHFS),based on Probit model and Tobit model to make empirical regression analysis o n the number of family children,the possibility of buying commercial life insurance for Chinese families and the commercial life insurance premiums.The thesie found that the number of children in Chinese families has a positive impact on the purchase of commercial life insurance.More children in a family,the more likely they are to purchase commercial life insurance.At the same time,the more the premium expenditure of commercial life insurance is,the higher the proportion of premium expenditure in income.The research of this paper provides a new perspective for the analysis of the demand factors of commercial life insurance and plays a positive role in promoting the development of commercial life insurance.
