The report of 19 th national congress of the communist party of China pointed out that socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era and China stands at a new historical position.Under the background of the new era,the educational purpose and teaching conditions of senior high school have all undergone great changes.Social developments need for higher standards of high school education.Under the premise of clear political direction,it is an urgent requirement to training teenagers with highly qualified and all-round students to promote the construction of modernization socialism In conclusion,the traditional teaching method of "teachers teaching,students learning" has been difficult to satisfied the talent standards of the new era while the characteristics of inquiry learning such as openness,autonomy and practicality are important to development individuality and cultivation of talents in the new era.Therefore,the application of inquiry learning in middle school ideological and political education can not only innovate the teaching method of ideological and political education,but also improve the ability of cooperation and practice of students,play better to educational function of ideological and political education.This research based on the application status of inquire learning in high school ideological and political education.With the method of questionnaire survey and in-depth interview to discovery the problem of application progress of inquire learning,and proposes countermeasures to optimize its application in high school ideological and political education.Specifically,this paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the research background,research significance and the domestic and foreign related research review.Conduct research on the basis of understanding the historical background,educational background and relevant research.The second chapter systematically expounds the basic connotation,theoretical basis,development course of inquire learning,and introduces the main contents,development status and object characteristics of high school ideological and political education,respectively.The third chapter analyzes the necessity and feasibility of the application of inquire learning from various ways.On the based of statistical analysis of the questionnaire,the fourth chapter summarizes the problems existing in the application of inquire learning,and analyzes the causes of the problems.According to the problems existing in the application process of inquire learning,the fifth chapter puts forward the optimization application strategies from four ways,changing the mode,playing the role of teachers,improving ability of students,and improving the external environment,so as to ensure that research-based learning can be better applied to the ideological and political education in high schools,and give play to the advantages of combining the two.
