Since the beginning of the 21st century,China has opened curriculum reforms in various disciplines,and curriculum standards have been continuously improved,and the concept of curriculum standards is directly reflected in the textbooks.With the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China formulating the standard for high school chemistry courses(2017 edition),the new version of high school chemistry textbooks will soon be launched,and a round of textbook research will be culminated.At this stage,the research textbook must inevitably have a detailed understanding of the research field of middle school chemistry textbooks at home and abroad,in order to grasp new perspectives and use appropriate methods to carry out research.The problems to be solved in the thesis:(1)What are the characteristics of the research strength of middle school chemistry textbook research at home and abroad?(2)What is the distribution and development of research topics in the study of chemistry textbooks at home and abroad?(3)What is the distribution and development of research paradigms in the study of middle school chemistry textbooks at home and abroad?(4)What are the theoretical foundations of the study of middle school chemistry textbooks at home and abroad?What are the developments?(5)What are the similarities and differences between the domestic and international research strengths,research themes,research paradigms,and theoretical foundations of middle school chemistry textbook research?The conclusions of the thesis study are as follows:(1)Research on domestic middle school chemistry textbooks:Research and development have experienced three stages:tempering period,rapid period,and falling back period.The research power is growing stronger,the academic atmosphere of research institutions is strong,and there is less cooperation between research institutions.The domestic researchers led by Zhou Qing,Zhang Shiyong and Wang Houxiong mainly conduct research based on constructivist learning theory,cognitive development psychology theory,humanistic theory and pragmatic education theory.In the research process,they mainly choose the positivist research paradigm.Text analysis,case studies,and historical research methods to study teaching guidance and activity design in textbooks,the ideologicalness,accuracy,and selectivity of content selection,and the problem of graphic configuration in textbooks.The research topic focuses on the order of orientation:teaching attribute>content attribute>characterizing attribute.(2)Research on chemistry textbooks in international middle schools:Research and development have experienced three stages:Initial period,gradual period and rapid period.Research institutions have a strong academic atmosphere,but the number of publications is generally small.The international researchers headed by Paik Seoung-Hey are mainly based on constructivist learning theory,cognitive development psychology theory,humanistic theory,Bloom's target classification theory and pragmatic education theory.The main choices in the research process are empirical evidence.Text analysis,historical research methods,descriptive statistical analysis,and analysis of variance in the research paradigm of the study of the learner adaptability,teaching guidance and activity design in the textbook,the ideological,accuracy and readability of content selection.The research topic focuses on the order of orientation:teaching attribute>content attribute>characterizing attribute.(3)International comparison of middle school chemistry textbook research:domestic research and the number of authors and the number of core authors are more than international,and domestic research is developing rapidly.In the research theme and research paradigm,the domestic and international research tendencies are consistent.International research on characterization attributes is more important.On the micro level,the country pays more attention to teaching guidance,exercises,supplementary textbooks,the ideological nature of content selection,and the rationality of columns,while the international community pays more attention to learner adaptability,teaching aids,media and textbook readability.International research is more balanced for qualitative,mixed,and quantitative research.Domestic and international data are mainly collected from textual materials,but international research also collects data based on surveys,observations,and test tests.The theoretical basis is relatively weak,but there are many types of domestic theories.The international community pays more attention to humanistic theory,pragmatic education theory and Broome's target classification theory.
