In the era of new media,with the popularity of personal communication devices represented by smart phones,the wechat official account of government affairs has deeply integrated into the daily life of the public with its advantages of convenience,efficiency and two-way interaction,and has become a communication platform for effective communication between the government and the public.This paper mainly discusses the characteristics and advantages of the wechat public account of guizhou Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism in the fields of urban culture and tourism image brand,tourism attraction,and rural tourism publicity,providing reference and thinking for the realization of the goal of "optimizing the communication content,improving the communication effect,and promoting the development of cultural and tourism industry".This paper chooses the public account of Guizhou Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism "Guizhou Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism" as the research object,and discusses its communication rules and functional characteristics through communication theory.Content analysis method is used to analyze the theme,title,language style and presentation form of sample tweets.It is found that the titles of tweets are full of emotional color,the themes of tweets are rich and diverse,the language style is lively and vivid,and the content is local,service and seasonal.Exist delivering content distribution,content,depth excavation is not enough,lack of information interaction,the problem such as transmission way needs to be updated,guizhou rural tourism,the text brigade to brand image propaganda,walked into the public eye,must improve the contents and operating strategy,shape fit propaganda patterns according to user’s demand,improve the financial media matrix,the implementation of linkage,win-win,Enhance the effectiveness and credibility of communication.Rural tourism with local,cultural and ecological characteristics,as one of the important forms of the integration of the three industries,is an important attempt to expand modern tourism,and also the key direction of the grand strategy of rural revitalization in Guizhou Province.Under the double support of market demand and policy inclination,the benign two-way interaction between destination supply and market demand is the basic support for the development of rural tourism in the context of rural revitalization.As an important publicity window for the cultural and tourism industry in Guizhou Province,the wechat public account of "Guizhou Department of Culture and Tourism" should play a greater role in improving the service quality of cultural and tourism,optimizing the publicity strategy of cultural and tourism,and developing new forms of tourism,so as to contribute to the overall prosperity of the cultural and tourism industry.
