An Analysis Of The Influence Of Western Collective Action Theory On Government Governance

The question of collective action has always been an important topic in the fields of public administration,politics,sociology,and economics.Especially after the class countries,the social contradictions,different periods of collective action presents different characteristics,so many western scholars for the cause,internal operation mechanism and development trend made the detailed study,and on the basis of practical research form certain theory and model and even paradigm,in order to reflect the nature of the collective action and internal law,to guide and predict the reality.In the1960 s,represented by alson rational collective action theory overturned the traditional collective behavior theory become the dominant theory of social activities,after the western collective action theory got great development,has established the theory of rational collective action,structural collective action theory and cultural collective action theory three theoretical mode.Due to its public and social needs,government governance is related to collective action,and whether it is managing social public affairs or the government's own affairs,it itself is carrying out collective action.It is of important theoretical and practical significance to study the influence of western collective action theory on government governance.Therefore,on the basis of sorting out the three theories of collective action,this paper explores its influence on government governance.In terms of structure,it is divided into the influence of rational collective action theory,structural collective action theory and cultural collective action theory on government governance.In terms of positive and negative effects,they mainly improve administrative efficiency,stratified organizational specialization,add governance methods,emphasize formal organization strength and public subjective consciousness,and have partial result orientation,lack of dynamic analysis perspective,trying to explain the influence of collective action theory in government governance process.
