Analysis Of Differences In Attitudes Towards Huawei 5G Among EU Member States (2017-2019)

Cooperation,together with competition,features countries around the world now,while the economic relations have found its unique status in international cooperation along with the development of political relations among all nations.,during which technical competition plays an essential role in winning an edge,widening the international influence and building a well-connected international relations for all the countries.As the actors of a new type,multinational corporations have taken part in the diplomatic negotiations and made a great difference in the connection between economy and technology for countries.For China,Huawei acts as a representative symbol in technological field,but its rapid rise has posed a threat to technology giants such as the United States..In spite of a clear attitude-------“peace”,“cooperation” and “win-win” from Huawei,United of States has often distorted the connection between Chinese government and this Chinese corporation due to its enterprise property,structure and leaders,launching the trade war and boycotting it by exerting pressure on the allies.EU,as an ally which has signed North Atlantic Treaty with the United States and follow General Data Protection Regulation(GDPR)with member countries,but countries show different attitudes after considering safety factors and reality in terms of 5G of Huawei.By combing the documents from the United States on its trade restriction towards China,the resistance against Huawei and all kinds of cooperation files of member countries from EU about 5G network development,this dissertation aims to search for the reasons why the member countries of EU hold different attitudes on the 5G technology of Huawei,further analyze the catalytic effect of Huawei in politics,economy and technology of international community,bringing Chinese wisdom to the mutual connectivity in world information technology.
