Research On Patriotism Education In The Early Days Of The Founding Of New China (1949-1956)

Patriotism education is a social and historical phenomenon that keeps pace with the times.In the process of carrying out patriotism education,not only should we develop with the times,but also constantly summarize and learn from the experience of practice and history.In the early years of the PRC,the ideological and political education and work of the Party and government have been carried out around the theme of patriotism,which laid the foundation for the cause of patriotism education in the Republic for 70 years.Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to study the experience of patriotism education in the early years of the PRC.At the beginning of the PRC,the Party and the Country were faced with the complicated political situation at home and abroad.On the one hand,the founding of the PRC led by the CPC has fully inspired the enthusiasm of the people to love the Party’s patriotism and build the motherland.On the other hand,the destruction of the Kuomintang residual forces on national unity and social stability,the outbreak of the Korean War on the security of the new regime etc.,these disadvantages need a patriotism education of the whole people.So the CPC carried out the education movement in combination with the main tasks of the new regime.First,patriotism education should be carried out in the consolidation of the new regime in China:Education of "completing the great cause of reunification of the motherland" in the process of liberation of the country;patriotism education for maintaining stability and public order in the suppression of anti revolutionary movement;and inspiring the sense of ownership in the period of land reform and economic recovery.Second,patriotism education was carried out in the Korea War:"the two principles" were combined in the battlefield to carried out education;the patriotic movement of the whole people the Korea War was carried out in China.Third,patriotism education should be carried out in the socialist reform movement.The patriotism education objects in the early days of the PRC has the universality.On this basis,the military,workers,peasants and young students are given priority education,and education is carried out according to different ideological levels.In the education content with distinctive characteristics of the times,the Party organically unified the love Party,loves socialism and patriotism,paid attention to the national conditions and revolutionary history education,and carried out the education of internationalism and national equality and unity.The state also adopted various educational methods to inspire and mobilized the people’s ownership’ awareness,carried out education with various literary and artistic carriers,paid attention to the mass patriotic movement to create a patriotic atmosphere,paid attention to the vital patriotic experience of the masses,and adopt the method of "group identity aggregation" to mobilize internally and guide the masses to self-education and enlightenment I’m not sure.These educational contents and methods effectively stimulated the patriotic enthusiasm of the people,and unite the people of all ethnic groups in the struggle of building the motherland.The patriotism education in the early years of the PRC has injected a strong spiritual force into the socialist construction and laid an important foundation for the patriotism education in the future.We can get enlightenment from patriotism education in the early years of the PRC:first,we should always insist on the unity of the love Party and socialism with the patriotism education.Two,we should upgrade the education system according to Xi Jinping’s patriotism and organize it around the central work of the Party.Third,we should paid attention to "new and old combination" patriotism education method in the new era.
