Population aging is the inevitable result of social development to a certain extent,and it is also one of the problems and challenges that many countries urgently need to face.After 30 years of family planning policy,China has stepped into the stage of aging rapidly.At the same time,it brings a huge tourism consumption market for the middle-aged and the elderly.Influenced by age growth,physical strength decline,energy dispersion,language constraints and other factors,the middle-aged and elderly tourism groups have special needs and consumption preferences for tourism products.However,at present,most of the tourism products aimed at this group in the market have serious homogenization,customer demand and service mismatch and other problems.In view of the above problems,guided by the theory of consumer demand,customer satisfaction and the theory of five levels of product structure,this paper adopts the methods of literature analysis,questionnaire survey,statistical analysis and comparative analysis to select the middle-aged and elderly groups in Kunming as the survey objects,and combines with the middle-aged and elderly tourists,travel agency employees,tourism enterprise executives,middle-aged and elderly tourism This paper analyzes the tourism demand and preference of the middle-aged and elderly groups,and discusses the tourism product development strategies for the middle-aged and elderly tourists based on the existing problems of tourism products.The main research conclusions of this paper are as follows: the influencing factors of middle-aged and old tourists choice of tourism products mainly include personality,age,tourism experience and income.Middle-aged and old tourists generally pay attention to consumption rationality,reliability,safety,experience,tourism experience and product quality;middle-aged and old tourists prefer Tourism products with slow travel pace,abundant rest and low sports intensity Products;high requirements for political stability and people friendliness of the destination;like to go out together,easily affected by family,friends and word-of-mouth;more aversion to group shopping;value brand reputation and service level of travel agencies,high loyalty,oncerecognized,high repurchase rate.In view of the above consumption characteristics and preferences,the paper divides the pre travel,in travel and post travel activities of the middle-aged and old tourists,and develops five strategies of core products,basic products,expected products,value-added products and potential products,so as to realize the comprehensive development of the tourism products of the middle-aged and old groups.
