An Lezhe's Research On The Political Philosophy Of "Huainanzi: Zhushu"

With the deepening of the spread and promotion of Chinese culture,more and more western scholars gradually began to pay attention to and deeply study the classics and documents representing Chinese culture.Roger T.Ames was just such an envoy who tried his best to convey China's voice to the west.Roger T.Ames is a Sinologist and philosopher who has been devoted to the study and research of sinology and Chinese philosophy for more than 50 years.His academic thought deserves our attention.In many of his ideological works,the domestic scholars pay much attention to his research on Confucianism,but in fact,he also made some achievements in the study of tao,fa,bing,mo and other schools,which should not be ignored by us.Based on this,this paper selects Roger T.Ames' research on the political philosophy of Huainanzi Zhushu,and further discusses Roger T.Ames' deep understanding of the development and evolution of the political philosophy from the pre-qin Confucianism,Taoism and legalism to Huainanzi.The research is carried out in three parts: the first part discusses the background and methods of Roger T.Ames' interpretation of Huainanzi Zhushu;The second part analyzes the analysis of Roger T.Ames' historical view on Confucianism,Taoism and law,and the historical view of Huainanzi Zhushu.The third part is on the basis of the former two parts,for Roger T.Ames about political philosophy of Confucianism method three research and Huainanzi Zhushu exposition of the thought of political philosophy research of comparative research,and finally it is concluded that Roger T.Ames for Huainanzi Zhushu main the summary of the thought of political philosophy: "relief",namely the sovereign interests need to obey the public interests.This thought was undoubtedly of leading significance under the rule of the feudal autocratic monarchy system at that time.
