An Analysis Of The Paradigm Shift Of Western Public Administration

In 1887,the American scholar Wilson published the famous "Research on Administration".The publication of this article marks that public administration has become an independent discipline that is separated from political science.In the course of more than 100 years of development and evolution of public administration,no matter in the value orientation,or in theory and research methods,public administration has undergone a major paradigm shift.The transformation of these paradigms of public administration has profoundly influenced the practical development of public administration.From the perspective of time development,it can be seen that public administration has undergone three major paradigm shifts,namely,from the traditional public administration paradigm to the new public management paradigm,and from the new public management paradigm to the new public service paradigm.The three major paradigm shifts are There have been major breakthroughs in the development of public administration.Through the research on the development of western public administration paradigm,it can provide value,theory and method for my country's administrative research and government management.Therefore,this article will sort out the three paradigm shifts in the development of western public administration and explore its role and impact on the establishment of public administration paradigms in my country.
