Analysis And Reflection On The Performance Of The Pipa Concerto "Spring And Autumn"

Chunqiu is one of the modern large-scale pipa concertos,which are extremely innovative in terms of both composition and playing techniques.The Chunqiu concerto is still loved by many players and attract much attention from researchers.Divided into three chapters,this paper adopts the literature analysis method,and it is based on the author’s learning and performance experience.First of all,the playing techniques are analyzed.The main points of the left-handed and right-handed playing techniques are explained carefully.Secondly,the problems encountered when author perform Chunqiu concerto are studied from the following three aspects: the connection between the pipa and the piano;the acoustics of partial and overall composition,and the variation of beat and stress.The solutions to these difficulties are given.Finally,the cultural value of Chunqiu concerto is analyzed,derived from author’s performance experience.How the Pipa performance creates visual images for audience is interpreted.The interpretation is for author to better express the content and emotion of the work in future performances.
