Exploration And Research On The Symbolization Of Oil Painting Creation Language

When artists use various symbolic languages to create oil paintings,all kinds of symbols in the pictures actually carry the artist's soul.In the process of oil painting creation,artists resort to their emotions in the form of oil paintings,and the symbols in each of their works seem to be telling themselves and what they want to express.Often,in these works,they can also show the true side of artists.And these symbols in the picture,they can be a set of lines,a still life,or even a story,because the most important significance of these symbols is to convey the "meaning" that the creator wants to express through the materiality of the symbols,and express the creator's incomparably rich emotions,thoughts or an interesting story.The greatest charm of painting is the artist's emotional narration on the screen,so a work needs not only an objective image,but also a soul.The highest form of oil painting creation is actually the process of artists' emotional release,and this process is usually the value of visual painting.Therefore,artists can use all kinds of symbolic language to make the picture more lively and energetic,and can use all kinds of symbolic language to express the creator's inner feelings and thoughts.This paper is divided into four parts.The first part expounds some basic theories and concepts of symbols,explores the application of symbols in painting from the semiotic theory of Charles Sanders Peirce,and focuses on the form and emotion in Susanne K.Langer's theory,discusses the relationship between symbols and human emotions,and explores the relationship between forms and emotions.The second part mainly expounds the basic characteristics and application of symbols in painting,analyzes the picture from the angle of symbolic representation,and discusses the "meaning" that symbols want to express in painting by analyzing a large number of paintings.The third part,based on my graduation creation,analyzes the symbols used in painting creation to interpret the "meaning" brought by the picture and the "meaning" that I want to express.The fourth part is my deep understanding of symbols and the image effects and feelings achieved by the use of symbolic language in artistic creation.
