A Study Of Dimensional Translation Of Chinese Subjective Quantitative Constructions

Language has subjectivity has become the research consensus,while subjective quantity is the concrete embodiment of subjectivity in the category of quantity.It expresses the subjective evaluation meaning of speaker based on explicit or implicit comparison of quantitative information.There are many ways in which subjective quantity can be expressed in Chinese.Besides speech,vocabulary,sequence,compound and other means,configuration is also an effective means of expressing subjective quantity.Subjective quantitative structure is a grammatical means of expressing subjective quantity.It is a special expression form which has both its own characteristics,and also integrates various subjective expression methods such as vocabulary.Although Chinese and Uygur are different languages,there is a semantic category of " subjective quantity " in both languages.In this paper,29 subjective components of the table are selected as the object of study,and the corresponding translation of these 29 structures in Uygur language is comprehensively investigated.The text is divided into five parts.The first part mainly reviews the relevant results of subjective quantity research.It mainly summarizes the research results of predecessors.At the same time,it also introduces the research content,research ideas,research methods,corpus sources and so on.The second part is an overview of Chinese subjective quantitative expression.Firstly,the subjective quantity and configuration are defined,and the selected 29 subjective quantitative components are classified,and the subjective quantitative components are classified according to the quantitative size,and the structural characteristics are discussed.The main subsections describe the subjective mass configuration of other markers,such as quantitative structure and adverbs,as well as the subjective small component that contains quantitative structure,adverbs,and is highlighted by negating.The third part to the fourth part is to investigate the translation of subjective quantitative structure in Uygur language,and describe the subjective quantitative translation of different markers respectively.It was found that a considerable part of the subjective structure has corresponding marking words or fixed forms in Uygur language.Even if there is no corresponding expression,translation will be translated into other expressions to reflect subjective meaning.Through corpus investigation,we found that the quantitative category in Uygur language contains rich subjective,but also there are rich means of expression subjective quantity,including the use of adverbs,modal words,overlapping words,fixed format and other language forms to express their own subjective evaluation.The fifth part is the conclusion and summarizes the research content of the article.
