Xiaogang Ye,chairman of the Chinese Musicians' Association,is regarded as one of the most outstanding contemporary Chinese composers.His works are influential in the global music industry.Influenced by traditional Chinese culture,Xiaogang Ye is good at writing Chinese stories in musical language,in combination with western composition skills he learned,allowing Chinese music to go global.Among the large number of musical works with Chinese elements created by Xiaogang Ye,there are many symphonies on the themes of ancient Chinese poetry and Chinese unique scenic spots,among which the human voice is used as an independent instrument,and has the same status as the instrumental music,which is rare in symphonies.In addition,Xiaogang Ye has been committed to promoting the inheritance and development of the traditional culture of the Chinese nation,and has worked hard for it.The symphony "Lu Xun" is a successful attempt to localize and nationalize symphony.The main body of this thesis is composed of three parts.Starting from the the creation overview of "Lu Xun",the author introduces the creation background and the characteristics of the literature and music combined.Then,starting with Xiaogang Ye's creative techniques and characteristics,he deeply analyzed the artistic characteristics of Liang Di Shu-the Letters Between Two Places.Finally,from the perspective of vocal music,the author combines characterization,singing skills and performance,and strives to have a relatively thorough analysis of the work.Liang Di Shu was made into vocal symphonic suit,which makes it has highly need on the aspect of vocal.This paper explores how Xiaogang Ye creates works with Chinese elements by combining his personal style with the style of the work in Liang Di Shu,in the hopes of through the research of this paper,more people can understand Xiaogang Ye's works,more thinking from vocal music lovers can be aroused,and works with traditional Chinese music elements can be better inherited and developed.
