The Interaction Between Cao Zhibai And Songjiang Literati

Cao Zhibai was one of the important successors of the "Li Guo" Style in the Yuan Dynasty.Hewas reputable among officials and civilians,and the literati who knew him wanted to make friends with him.Cao Zhibai’s painting has the style of "Mo jie",Huang Gongwang also felt that his painting couldn’t be as good as Cao."the Painting of mountains after snow" was the best paintings which we know by Cao Zhibai,which he created for Xiying in the tenth year of Zhizheng(1350),with a note by Huang Gongwang on it.The one lived a seclusive in Songjiang,and the other sojourn in Songjiang,both of them are Cao Zhibai’s good friends.therefore,This painting is of great significance to the study of the interaction between Cao Zhibai and Songjiang literati.Based on the analysis of the relevance between Cao Zhibai and the painting,this paper attempts to explore the time,place,and the content of the interaction between Caozhibai,Xiying and Huang Gongwang,and whether there is some influence between literature and art,etc.Them gradually analyzed the relationship between Cao Zhibai and his friends,and his role in Songjiang literati circle.
