On The Integration Of Instrumental Rationality And Value Rationality

Reason and subjectivity are the core problems of modern society.The division of rationality and the loss of subjects make how people survive in the world become a thought-provoking problem.How to get out of the dilemma of modernity has become the focus of modern western philosophy schools,and the problem of rationality has become the core problem in the theoretical construction of each school.It is based on this that the reconstruction of complete rationality has become the common desire of various modern western philosophy schools.Although the western schools of philosophy have provided rich ideological resources to get out of the dilemma of modernity and opened a new horizon for the way of modernity thinking.However,these rational views are confined to the ideological field and are utopian,which can not really solve the plight of people in modern society.This paper traces the root of rational division,namely the alienation of labor,from the perspective of practical philosophy tradition.Therefore,it is believed that only based on Marx's labor theory,through the comprehensive development of people,communist movement and the organic combination of descriptive and normative philosophy itself,that is,the complete rationality of tool rationality and value rationality,can point out the direction for people to get out of difficulties and move towards human freedom and liberation.This complete and rational construction also highlights the significance and value of Marx's labor theory in modern society.—— is "planning for practice and the future".
