| With China’s population aging deepening, various social aging problems have become increasingly prominent.Gerontology has attracted more and more attention from linguists. The existing research focuses on the aspects of pronunciation, syntax and semantics, and less on the pragmatic discourse of the special elderly groups. However,in order to let the research have practical significance,it is necessary to investigate the pragmatic discourse of the elderly who with the mild cognitive impairment.Based on Perkins’ s emergentist model of pragmatics, the study takes the elderly with mild cognitive impairment as the object, focuses on the repetition of elderly people in daily conversation, brings the elderly speakers into the scope of the study. The results show that the conversational repetition of the elderly with mild cognitive impairment is an individual compensatory adjustment to compensate for their impaired cognitive function, and then emerges as the phenomenon of "repetition".Once the elderly speakers are familiar with and effectively identify the compensatory repetition of the elderly, they will also adopt different communication strategies and make corresponding interpersonal compensatory adjustments,so as to further reduce the risk of communication failure between the two sides. The aging communication dilemma will deepen and accelerate the deterioration of elderly people’s brain cognitive function. Therefore,we should pay attention to the speech characteristics of the elderly in practical communication,so as to detect and intervene the disease as soon as possible; It has certain reference value and far-reaching significance to encourage the elderly to participate in social interaction actively and improve the social embeddedness of ‘special’ elderly groups. |
