Research On The Performance And Artistic Style Characteristics Of The Pipa And Piano "Suddenly"

The pipa,as a kind of Chinese instrument,has a long history of development,has unique performance skills and expressions,which has become more and more perfect through the process of development.The Pipa and Piano Piece "Suddenly" is the first personal pipa work composed by the young composer Chen Yusheng in 2017.It was inspired by "Suddenly looking back,but the man is in the dim light".In 2018,it was premiered in Shanghai by Wu Shuang,the current teacher of the Shanghai Conservatory of Music,at the opening concert of the third Dunhuang Cup Pipa Art Elite Exhibition.This is a pipa work created for pipa and piano.The music is completed with modern music creation techniques,borrowing the artistic conception of poetry and expressing the feelings of music.This article takes "Suddenly" as the research object and is divided into three parts for analysis and research.Chapter One,the source of "Suddenly" —the creative background.This chapter is mainly divided into two parts: the first section,the introduction of the composer;the second section,the dialogue with the composer,understanding the creation source of the work from two aspects above.Chapter two,the analysis of "Suddenly" —the performance of the work.This chapter is divided into two parts: the first section is creation analysis,combing from the musical style and harmony,and analyzing the application of creative techniques in the work from each movement;The second section is the analysis of the performance techniques of “Suddenly”,analyzing the application of performance techniques in music from the aspects of point,line and timbre selection.Chapter three,the reflection of "Suddenly" —the artistic style.This chapter is divided into three parts: the first section is about “Suddenly” and title,music has characteristics of the title,using the text before the music and the section title to express the connotation of music;The second section is related to “Suddenly” and poetry,which is based on the background of traditional culture,and discusses the relationship between music and poetry culture;the third section contains the reflection of the performance of the “Suddenly”.Through the analysis of this article,the author summarizes the beauty of the rhythm and the cooperation between Pipa and piano.
