| As a unique film type in China,the theme film has long played a positive role in shaping the positive image of the country,conveying the mainstream ideology and guiding the socialist positive values.Before the new century,the theme film had a glorious period with the support of national policy and finance.However,due to the overemphasis on political preaching,the lack of commercial elements needed by the audience,and the gradual rigidity of the art form of the theme film itself,the theme film once fell into a creative dilemma.However,in recent years,with the adjustment of the cultural industry and the pace of the reform of China’s film industry,the theme film has gradually begun its own reform and adjustment.It has replaced the traditional unpopular,low box office theme films,gradually adopted the audience like to see the creative way,and combined with genre films and commercial films,to create a lot of excellent theme films with both public praise and box office.Whether in narrative technique or in audio-visual effect,we can see the obvious trend of the change of the theme film.At the same time,the film also retained the theme of the film itself the spiritual core of positive energy,really achieve the organic unity of social benefits and economic benefits.Therefore,it is worth further study and analysis.Based on the development,breakthrough dilemma and transformation of the main theme film,this paper discusses the historical evolution,development dilemma and transformation strategy of the theme film,research the development status of the theme film,think of the future development path of the theme film,and appropriately put forward relevant development suggestions.The first chapter is the introduction,including the research purpose,literature review and main research methods.Chapter two reviews in detail the development of historical themes in films in the 1990 s and1980s,and points out the internal and external difficulties faced by theme films at the beginning of the new century,providing the corresponding background to support the theme transformation and breakthrough films in the new century.The third chapter,the core part of the paper,mainly expounds the transformation and breakthrough strategies of the themed films after the new century,including the creative theme of the change of creative concept and structural change,the development of theme production types of films,the narrative strategy of the theme film,the transformation of description,and the promotion of industrialization level.From these perspectives,we can see the differences and progress between theme films and traditional theme films in the new century,and can more clearly interpret the development status of theme films.The fourth chapter,through the research on the current theme film creation,finds that its development is not mature,especially in the aspects of artistic expression and cross-cultural communication,there are some problems,so this paper puts forward some suggestions for the future development of theme film.The fifth chapter is based on my graduation thesis research. |
