In the history of cultural development, the body has always been one of the most important themes of artistic creation. As the subject of creation, the body has always been given the meaning of viewing and expression. In the history of art,the body is more often used to show the power of the body itself, and bodies of different eras have different aesthetic values. In contemporary times, the contradictions within the human group caused by the cultural environment make philosophers think about the issue of body and identity. From the value medium that conveys the outlook on life and values, and the establishment of an independent individual's identity,to the idea of transforming the body that subverts traditional biological and ethical cognition, the body,as an important part of contemporary art works, conveys what people think in modern society.Dimension.Based on the above cognition, this article discusses the body problem in contemporary art from four chapters. The first chapter introduces the reason and background of the subject of body into the vision of contemporary art culture, expounding the philosophical foundation of contemporary art about body creation. The second chapter uses the body research in contemporary art works to find the starting point of using the body as a creative medium and the actual meaning of such creation, how the body expresses itself and its relationship with society, and how the body intervenes in society and communicates in the work Scenes, and at the same time discussed how works without physical entities convey the meaning of the body. The third chapter elaborates on another transformation of the body in contemporary art, that is,biological art.The body has changed from a medium for conveying concepts to the concept itself. The study of machine relations attempts to summarize the significance of the body's transformation from being a medium to being an experimental subject. Finally, the fourth chapter briefly describes the two works created during the postgraduate period and the thinking on the body.
