This thesis is mainly based on the background of the "Natural Art" movement that appeared in South Korea from the second half of the 20 th century to the beginning of the 21 st century and the "Land Art" movement in the West.Two representative artists are selected as case studies,and this research is carried out through comparative analysis..The case study of "Natural Art" in South Korea is mainly based on the activities of the "YATOO" Natural Art Research Association(a group of young Korean artists in their 20 s and 30s);the case of "Land Art" is The research is based on two forms of anti-ecological "land art" in the early United States and the "land art" in the later European ecological environment.This article mainly focuses on the following three points to discuss: First,through a large number of first-hand materials,it elaborates on Korean "natural art" and European "land art",and objectively analyzes the background of the times in which they are located.Second,by comparing the Korean “natural art” artist Ko Seung-hyun and the British “land art” artist Andy Goldsworth in the same period,these two artists have been the representatives of different countries and cultural mechanisms for more than 40 years.Unfolded art work to understand the cross-section and characteristics of Korean "natural art" and European "land art",and analyze the commonalities and differences between the two in artistic creation.Third,discuss and think about the meaning of natural art and “land art” in the context of climate change and pandemic.Faced with the drastic changes in the earth’s ecology,“natural art” and “land art” have had great influence as hot topics,but are they likely to continue to have an influence in the future as public art or as a response to education? On this topic,this thesis will discuss through a series of comparative analysis,and will also respond to this topic in my graduation creation "Heart".
