Start With Improvisation

This paper mainly discusses the impromptu and sculpture creation.This paper discusses the phenomenon of impromptu as a way of work from different aspects,combs the two ideological sources of improvisation:automatism and Zen,and discusses the reasons for impromptu.This paper mainly discusses the significance of impromptu in the process of artistic creation from the two different starting points of impromptu and sculpture,based on the artistic practice of western modern and contemporary artists and related comments.Finally,the conditions and methods of impromptu in sculpture are summarized,as well as the motivation of listening and development.This paper takes impromptu as a clue to explore the evolution of artists,especially sculptors' thoughts from modernism to postmodernism,observe different creative motives,and realize the significance of creation for different individuals,so as to reflect on myself.
