Illustration Poster Design Research For Fantasy Children's Movies

The development of film illustration posters has a long history.In each period,many excellent film illustration posters have been produced at home and abroad.These posters have been endowed with the style characteristics of each era,which provides rich reference materials for the development of film illustration posters in the future.As one of many types of films,children’s films lag behind in their marketing and publicity.There are few ways to publicize children’s films,so that parents cannot make accurate decisions and judgments.At the same time,children’s film posters as an important part of the propaganda of children’s film,the study of children’s film posters is helpful to strengthen the propaganda and promotion of children’s film.When exploring children’s film posters,I chose the expression techniques in illustration design to present the poster in the form of expression,and at the same time,I chose children’s film with fantasy theme as the creative theme when designing the film’s illustration poster.On the one hand,this is to have a deeper understanding of the posters of children’s fantasy films,and on the other hand,it is also to provide a new idea for the development of the poster types of children’s films.In this paper,the fantasy children’s film as the main research object,first defined the basic concepts of children’s film and fantasy children’s film.In the process of exploration,the development history of children’s fantasy film posters and domestic film illustration posters are summarized.On this basis,the visual form characteristics of children’s fantasy film posters and film illustration posters are explored,and the methods of creating children’s fantasy film illustration posters are summarized.In addition,it also discusses the dissemination value of film illustration posters,and at the same time,it also appreciates the excellent contemporary film illustration posters at home and abroad.On the basis of these studies,the design principles and methods are finally formulated.After summarizing the creative process and thinking methods of poster design,the illustrative poster design of children’s fantasy movies is carried out in practice.The content of the design practice includes twelve children’s fantasy movies at home and abroad.The main purpose of the design practice is to explore an illustrated visual form of expression of children’s fantasy film posters.
