The Inheritance And Development Of Bach's Polyphony Technique In Beethoven's Music Creation

Bach is the representative of western polyphony music,and his fugue writing technique has influenced the music creation of many composers,Beethoven was influenced by Bach’s fugue writing technique.Beethoven used a lot of contrapuntal techniques and fugue techniques in his music creation,and he carried forward fugue techniques in his music works.This paper uses fugue as a link to connect Bach and Beethoven,In the first chapter,Bach’s fugue is introduced.In the following two chapters,Beethoven’s inheritance of Bach’s fugue music is elaborated in terms of creative thinking and technical means respectively.In the end,Beethoven’s inheritance of Bach’s fugue technology is briefly summarized,and focused on the development of Bach’s fugue and the influence of Beethoven’s fugue.Nowadays,more and more researchers have realized the significance of Beethoven’s fugue writing.In terms of fugue writing technique,most composers in the 20 th century prefer Beethoven’s fugue writing method,which shows that Beethoven has a profound influence on fugue writing of later generations.
