Chu Suiliang was a well-known calligrapher in the early Tang Dynasty.He was well-versed in literature and history,especially in calligraphy(regular script)rather artistic attainments.His unique calligraphy style and outstanding achievements in Calligraphy Art occupy an important position in Chinese calligraphy art.As a representative work of Chu Suiliang’s late mature calligraphic style,the preface to the wild goose pagoda is the most representative of Chu’s regular script style,creating a vivid and void image and spatial change,led the Tang Dynasty regular script new style,become calligraphy Bai Juyi.In this paper,Chu Suiliang calligraphy style is divided into early and late and carried out an analysis,"Yi que Buddha niche tablet" and "Meng FA SHI tablet" is the early style of Chu Suiliang,the ancient style of writing between the Ou,Yu,and WEIBEI SUI tablet summary.The Stele of Fang Xuanling and the preface of wild goose pagoda are the late style of Chu Suiliang and the sublimation of Chu Suiliang’s mature style.Later generations are deeply affected by many imitations,such as "Yin Fu Jing","Ni Kuan Zan" on behalf of the pen,vertical and horizontal,stippling flow,future generations focus on learning.By exploring Chu Suiliang’s style of calligraphy and thinking about copying and creating.Based on the principle of integrating theory with practice and applying knowledge to practice,this paper discusses relevant issues.And the author of the creation of regular script understanding and understanding,hope that on this basis can walk out a suitable for their future development of regular script road.
