A Study Of Western Xia Music And Dance Images

The Xixia Dynasty was founded in 1038 as a separatist regime with the Dangxiang as the main body.The area under its jurisdiction was close to the Yellow River in the East,Yumen in the west,Xiaoguan in the South and the desert in the north.Located in today's Shanxi,Gansu,Ningxia,Inner Mongolia and other places.Although the country has been established for nearly 190 years,the images of Xixia music and dance in grottoes,pagodas and other cultural relics show the uniqueness of its music and dance art.These music and dance images are the model of the combination of Central Plains,Xixia and other comprehensive music and dance art and painting art.They are important material materials in the study of Xixia music and dance art and cultural exchange.Due to the limited data of Xixia,the texts such as "official history" and"music records" are incomplete.In view of this,this paper takes the music and dance images left in Gansu,Ningxia and Inner Mongolia as the research object,collects and arranges them,and studies them in combination with the literature and history data.The main body of this paper consists of four parts.First of all,it is necessary to sort out Chinese and foreign scholars' description and research of xixia music and dance and its images.Secondly,the typical grottoes sites,pagoda temple sites and Khara Khoto artworks containing xixia music and dance images are briefly summarized to collect and sort out the related cultural relics by region,and to find out the general situation of xixia music and dance and the stylized factors of its generation.Thirdly,it is a case study of musical instruments.Starting from the seven stars of musical instruments in Xixia Dynasty,this paper discusses its origin and analyzes the communication between Chinese and foreign cultures.The qixing originated in the Central Plains.Combined with the HengDi,Chi and flute of the western regions and the Central Plains,they were created by the people of the Tang Dynasty and spread to the territory of Xixia through the Hexi corridor.By the Song Dynasty,they had become instruments used by the Xixia Dynasty.Its is the spread of music and art,accompanied by cultural exchanges,and promotes the continuous evolution of human civilization.Finally,focus on the analysis of music and dance images,based on a large number of music and dance image data to study the law of development of music and dance art,from the process of its development and evolution to the perfection of image form and content,forming a stylized development mode.By collecting a large number of images,this paper proves that Xixia music and dance is an innovative mode that inherits the art of music and dance since the Tang and Song Dynasties,and integrates the music and dance culture of foreign nationalities,forming a unique music and dance of Xixia characteristics.
