The east-west cultural exchange and transmission on the Silk Road is an important part of art history. With the prosperity of the commodity trade, many cultures converge here, bringing the constant collision and blending of the politics, economy, religion, and culture of various ethnic groups. The multi-ethnic art integration of music and dance was started from the Northern Dynasty and reached its peak in the Tang Dynasty, which was due to the close communication between the Central Plains culture and foreign cultures. As an ancient and active commercial ethnic on the Silk Road, the Sogdians have not only enriched the material circulation of Eurasia, but also have made the cultural exchange between the East and the West become more abundant. From the Northern Dynasty to the Sui and Tang Dynasties,a large number of Sogdians came to the Central Plains along the Silk Road and settled down here. They learned Chinese, wore Chinese clothes and intermarried with the Han.Their thoughts and behaviors gradually became "Chinese",while their original religious beliefs were preserved, presenting a unique cultural landscape of coexistence of multiple cultures. The Sogdians love singing and dancing which are indispensable in religious sacrifice and daily life. And the hometown of the Sogdians is rich in producing grapes, which are widely brewed into wine.Wine and dance are all involved in daily life and festivals. With the excavation of many stone tombs from Sogdians in China since the twentieth century,a large number of painted reliefs and dance images have been unearthed, most of them have been accompanied by the theme of feasting, showing the artistic characteristics of Sogdians in business, hunting, meeting guests and festivals. This paper consists of four parts.Firstly,it reviews the recent research of Chines e and foreign scholars on dance art and banquet activities of Sogdians entering China.Secondly, the images of banquet music and dance in tombs of Sogdians are sorted out and interpreted according to the classification of the period. Moreover, this paper expl ores the aesthetic concept and belief in daily life of Sogdians starting from the scene t heme of banquet music and dance. Finally,it focuses on the case study of "Drunken Hu Teng Dance",traces its spread and development process, and even forms a stylize d performance mode in Hu dance in Tang Dynasty and team dance in Song Dynasty b y history and image data.
