Turpan region,located in the border area,was an important town on the ancient silk road.In 640,the tang dynasty put down the gao chang kingdom of the qu family and established xizhou.From then on,turpan had close exchanges with chang 'an and entered a new historical period.A large number of tang dynasty cultural relics have been unearthed in this area,of which much fine cultural relics reflect the cultural exchanges and dissemination between chang 'an and xizhou.Articles in turfan unearthed cultural relics of tang dynasty as the research object,on the basis of previous studies,the culture of the tang dynasty chang 'an art of western state propagation is discussed.This paper mainly studies the cultural relics of the tang dynasty unearthed in the turpan region from four parts:a pair of tang dynasty relics and tombs in the turpan region are sorted out;Secendly,Classification of cultural relics of tang dynasty unearthed in turpan;Thirdly,the cultural relics of tang dynasty unearthed in turpan area are compared with those in xi 'an area.Fourth,to explore the reasons and motivations for the cultural and artistic exchanges between the two places.According to comb the classification of turpan unearthed cultural relics,summarizes the turpan area of cultural relics in the tang dynasty has the following characteristics:one,the variety,with a clay sculpture,painting,wood,ceramics,bronze,etc;Two,well preserved,bright color;3.Various materials and production methods,such as clay,grass,wood,clay head and wood body,etc.Based on the comparative analysis of related cultural relics in xi'an,this paper analyzes the cultural relics and tombs of unknown ages,and divides the tang dynasty tombs in turpan into two periods.Two kinds of cultural relics and the change of shape,reflect the characteristics of consistent with the xi 'an area,reflecting the cultural exchange between the western states and changan synchronization.Therefore,the cultural relics of the tang dynasty in turpan area reflect the characteristics of chang 'an art and belong to the part of chang 'an art,the material reflection of xizhou's recognition of chang'an art and culture,and the gradual process of its recognition.Combined with the historical background of gaochang,the han is the main ethnic group in the region,and the Confucian ideology has been the main ideology for a long time.In addition,the political management after the unification of the western regions by the tang dynasty,and the policies such as the internal migration of large ethnic groups have provided the internal impetus for the reappearance of chang'an art in xizhou.
