The Weak Are Not Weak

As a female writer,Yan Geling always pays close attention to the fate of women.In her creation,she deeply shows the difficult living conditions of women.However,instead of indulging in negative emotions,these women are calm,peaceful,tough and optimistic.This way of women’s survival,which tries to gradually reverse the miserable situation by emphasizing women’s inner power,reflects Yan Geling’s female consciousness that the weak are not weak.This female consciousness also runs through her creation.Based on this,this paper will take "the weak are not weak" as the central argument to make an in-depth analysis of their female consciousness.The introduction explains the reason of the topic,the significance of the research,the research methods,the research status of Yan Geling’s creation,the meaning of female consciousness and the weak are not weak.The first chapter of the text expounds women’s difficult living situation from the physiological,social and spiritual aspects,thus revealing the basic fact that they are weak.On the basis of the first chapter,the second chapter analyzes the three aspects of women’s tenacious pursuit of survival,seeking independence and bravely undertaking the task of redemption,to further point out that these women in difficult situations have a strong heart,which gives people a sense of not weak.On the basis of the first two chapters,the third chapter analyzes the limitations of Yan Geling’s female consciousness: Although Yan Geling initially stressed that women are not weak in order to construct an ideal way out for women in a patriarchal society,the absurd redemption of the weak,the enslaved female characteristics and the idealization of gender harmony deconstruct her idea from the opposite side.From the perspective of the development history of women’s literature,the conclusion part once again summarizes Yan Geling’s female consciousness of the weak is not weak.
